John Cann is uniquely suited to the position of Safety Advisor for motion pictures and television.   A veteran of the entertainment industry John has been working as a professional performer and stunt coordinator since 1982. In over 40 years of performing, coordinating and teaching stunts, John has never been seriously injured nor has he caused injury to anyone else. His safety record is flawless. He has appeared in 100's of feature films, television, and live shows as stunt coordinator, stunt  performer and/or actor. His credits include:

John has recently moved into the producers arena with the feature film "Phani" and his first short film "The Deepest Dark".  Currently he is producing and stunt coordinating two web series' "Battle Run" and "Bounty" as well as the documentary, "The Last Rocketman" which is in post production!

Stunts' equipment is some of the safest, most dependable in the world.  John also wrote,  edited, and published three editions of "The Stunt Guide" A Comprehensive Guide for Action Film Makers.  He literally wrote the book on stunts!

John is an avid actor and has always loved the stage as well as film. While living in California, he helped establish several theater companies, including The Two Roads Theater in Studio City and Theater III in Hollywood.  John resides in the Dallas, Texas area. He hopes to remain in Texas, serve the Lord, and continue working in the growing Texas film industry. John gives all the glory to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who has preserved him and kept him safe since day one!
